Account Affiliations
Geneseo uses several affiliations to categorize our accounts and many services are provided based on these affiliations. This page is meant to detail those base affiliations. CIT Maintains Active Directory Groups that should be used by applications and third party systems when querying these affiliations. These groups allow for overrides to be included.
eduPersonAffiliation
eduPersonAffiliation is defined by REFEDS and we follow their guidelines, though there is a great deal of leeway allowed in how these are defined. Order refers to how we determine your eduPersonPrimaryAffiliation which must be a single value.
Note that many accounts will have multiple affiliations.

We use this field to track all local affiliations defined by Geneseo. Not all affiliations map to a eduPersonAffiliation.
