Faculty who wish to communicate with their class via email should send an announcement via KnightWeb. You can also
send an announcement from Brightspace to reach all enrolled students. KnightWeb Sending an email via KnightWeb
Faculty can send messages to their classes from the KnightWeb Secure area. Department chairs and secretaries have the ability to email any class in the department to send announcements regarding class cancellations or changes.
If you do not use an email client (Thunderbird, Mac Mail, etc.), you can configure Chrome to send messages from KnightWeb through Gmail.

When you open Gmail in Chrome, a Protocol Handler icon (double diamond) should appear to the left of the star (bookmarks) icon in the upper right hand corner of the URL bar.
