What is Parlance?
Parlance is an automated attendant - a campus name connector system that will allow a caller to say the first and last name of a person or the name of a department and have your phone call connected.
How do I use Parlance?
From on campus phones dial "0" and from off campus, dial (585) 245-5000 to use the name connector. To skip the name connector greeting, press the * (star) key on your phone to jump to the "Name Please?" prompt.
Can I use Parlance from off campus?
Yes, just dial (585) 245-5000.
Who can I call with Parlance?
Parlance name connecting is only available to reach faculty, staff and College departments.
