Stricter Bulk Email Delivery Standards

In February 2024, Google, Yahoo, and other email providers will be changing their standards to help protect against email abuse. If you/your department use a third-party service to send mass emails to non-Geneseo.edu email addresses, you may notice the effects of this change in the coming days and weeks. If you receive reports that the bulk emails you've sent are going to the recipients' spam folders, you should work with your vendor and CIT to ensure the service you are using is properly configured.
