Create Mailmeteor Account - Mail Merge

This article explains how to install and use the Mailmeteor Chrome extension in Gmail to send and track personalized emails.

Setup Mailmeteor for Gmail using Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and sign in using your SUNY Geneseo credentials.

  2. Install the Mailmeteor for Gmail extension from the Chrome Web Store.

    1. Click “Add to Chrome”, then “Add Extension”.

    2. Click “Sign in with Google” with your SUNY Geneseo credentials

    3. Then authorize access.

  3. Locate the “Campaigns” tab in Gmail

    • Within Gmail, you’ll now see a Campaigns tab alongside Inbox, Sent, etc.

Email Quota

  • Mailmeteor enables you to send up to 500 emails from each email account.

    • Your email quota resets 24 hours after your most recent campaign.

      • If you send emails at 2 PM on Monday, your quota will refresh at 2 PM on Tuesday.

    • Every time you send an email, we verify your quota.

      • If you attempt to send more emails than your allowance permits, Mailmeteor will alert you that your emails cannot be sent.
