Installing the Brightspace Mobile App (Pulse)

This document describes the steps to install and use the Brightspace Pulse app.
Steps to Install
Search for the Brightspace Pulse app in your smartphone's app store.
Install the app and open.
Identify āWho provides your learning?ā as āSUNY Geneseoā
Youāll then be brought to a blue page that has āNETWORK LOGINā highlighted in purple (immediately above the words āLocal Loginā) ā select āNETWORK LOGINā
You may be prompted to choose your campus; choose Geneseo and slide the toggle over to āRemember Campusā ā click the blue āLog Inā button
Youāll then be prompted to enter your full Geneseo email address - do so and click āNextā
Youāll then be prompted to enter your Geneseo password - do so and click āNextā
Next youāll be prompted to āVerify your identifyā using any one of the multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods provided on-screen - verify your identity using your desired MFA method
Check the box on the āStay signed in?ā screen and select āYesā
It may take a few seconds to load but you should then see a list of courses associated with your account.
