myVoicemail is a web based system that allows you to personalize your communications options and manage calls and messages in a way that is convenient for you. In addition, messages can be checked from your computer using your web browser or an email inbox. Voicemail is free and is available by request for faculty and staff by completing a CIT Telephone Services Request Form.

Before getting started, please note the following information:

  1. Mailbox number is referred to as ID
  2. Mailbox security code is referred to as PIN (Phone Identification Number)
  3. If you are accessing the voicemail system from your office phone and it is not a shared extension or multi-line phone, you do not need to enter your ID, the system automatically knows it. You will have to enter your PIN.

You can customize your myVoicemail settings on your computer by using the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant (PCA) web interface. Go to http://myvoicemail.geneseo.edu Enter your Geneseo username and password at the Geneseo authentication screen, then click the link for Cisco Messaging Assistant.

As of June 2022, a VPN connection is needed to access your http://myvoicemail.geneseo.edu my from campus through the web portal
