Wireless at Geneseo

SUNY Geneseo offers wireless network access across campus for your computer and mobile devices.  The campus wireless network is based on IEEE 802.11 technology, also called "WiFi." This standard allows us to provide networking to computers over radio frequencies in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ranges.

Additional Services for Students

software.geneseo.edu

All Geneseo students can download Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and other academic software for free. Software can also be run in our Geneseo Virtual Lab without needing to install anything.

Getting Started: Printing at Geneseo

Google Workspace for Education at Geneseo

Google Apps for Education is available to all Geneseo students, faculty, and staff. Google Apps online services provide productivity and collaboration tools accessible from any Internet connection.

Geneseo Mobile App

The Geneseo Mobile app provides access to resources like class schedules, registration, billing, meal plan balances, notifications, online directory, events, news, campus map, and more. It can also help you find other apps recommended for Geneseo students. Search for “Geneseo Mobile” on the Google Play Store or Apple's app store and add it today.

LinkedIn Learning Training Library

Geneseo students, faculty and staff have FREE access to the entire LinkedIn Learning training library (over 7,500 courses, and more are added every week) through Geneseo's site license.
