Before scanning to OneDrive or SharePoint, you must complete a one-time authentication using a link sent to your Geneseo email account. Follow the instructions to complete this authentication, through the link or directly at the printer.

If you're using the "At Printer" method, bring a device that can access your Geneseo email account.

Authenticate Via Link

  1. Click this link. A browser window will open to Pharos, on this screen select the yellow Authorize button.

  2. You may then be prompted to login with your Geneseo Credentials. Once you do you should see a message confirming your account is now authorized.

  3. Start Scanning:

    • Once authenticated, you can scan to OneDrive or SharePoint at any printer on campus.


Authenticate at the Printer

  1. Locate a printer that you would like to scan from.

  2. Login at the printer using your preferred method (i.e., passcode, id card).

  3. Select Scan Document on the printer control panel.

  4. The file format window will open, choose your preferred scan file formatting then select Next.

  5. Choose OneDrive or SharePoint as your scanning destination.

  6. A window will open saying “Authorization Required”. You will then check your Geneseo email for an authorization link.

  7. In the email click the green Authorize button.

  8. A browser window will open to Pharos, on this screen select the yellow Authorize button.

  9. You will then be prompted to login with your Geneseo Credentials. Once you do you should see a message confirming your account is now authorized.

  10. Start Scanning:

    • Once authenticated, you can scan to OneDrive or SharePoint at any printer on campus.
