Delivery of voicemail messages to your email inbox as an audio file can be configured administratively.

If you would like to receive your voicemail messages in your email inbox as an audio file instead of via your phone or the web, submit a Telephone Service Request indicating that you would like your voicemails to be delivered to your work email address.

No Red Light!

Once this change is made, you will no longer be able to check voice mail via the telephone interface, nor will a red "message waiting indicator" be illuminated on your station.
