Releasing Printouts on a PublicToshibas Device

How to pickup print jobs on a Toshiba Multifunction Device that has been sent to the PublicToshibas Print queue.

Before You Start

  1. Have a print job pending in the PublicToshibas print queue
    1. Use Mobility Print or PaperCut Web Print to queue up a job for printing
  2. Be physically present at a PublicToshibas copier 
    1. For a list of locations, visit Pharos Cloud Printing at Geneseo

Steps - How to print

  1. Tap your Geneseo ID or key fob on the Multifunction Device's card reader or type your Geneseo username and password at the login interface.
  2. After logging in, if you have pending jobs, the following screen will be shown
      1. To print all pending jobs, click the Green Print all button
      2. If you want to be more selective with your printing, select the Print Release icon
  3. The pending jobs list will now show all of the pending release jobs on your account
      1. Select jobs to print by selecting the box next to the job, then press the Green Print button

Steps - How to Make Changes to Your Print Job

  1. On the pending jobs list screen, PaperCut offers a variety of choices
      1. Check the box for Print as grayscale to automatically convert printed jobs to print in Black & White (most printers offer a discount for this type of printing)
      2. Check the box for Print as 2-sided to convert all single sided jobs to 2-sided for an additional savings 
  2. Looking to make changes on an individual job? Select the arrow next to the job you wish to modify
      1. Eligible jobs may offer the following options
        1. Increase the amount of copies to be printed
        2. Switch from single sided to 2-sided
        3. Convert from Color to Grayscale
    1. If making a change results in a cost reduction you will see the following indication
        1. If you made a mistake, press the Reset to original button
    2. When you have finished making changes, press the Green Print button

Steps - How to logout

  1. Once you have finished using the device, push the Access button on the keypad or press the on screen logout button located next to your name in the upper right hand corner

Notes

  • Unreleased print jobs will be automatically deleted four hours after initial submission.
