LIL Generating Reports on Specific Learning Paths
This article will teach LIL Admins how to create a report to get analytics on how your learners are engaging with your recommended content.
Access data for recommended content as a Learning admin
As a LinkedIn Learning admin, you can use the Recommendations feature to get analytics on how your learners are engaging with your recommended content, including collections, learning paths, and courses. These reports help you understand what content learners are engaging with well and assess what kind of content recommendations you can make in the future, based on learner trends.
Who can use this feature?
Learning admins can access all recommendations made in Learning for the organization, but sub admins can only view or access recommendations they've made.
Steps
On the admin homepage
Click the Insights tab, then Recommendations in the dropdown that appears.
Here's a tip: To view data on recommendations made to more than 2,000 learners, you must download a CSV.
Under Recommendations and Assignments in the Recommendations tab, locate the recommended course, path, or collection you’d like to view analytics for.
Click More and select View details to view the following:
Total # learners: The number of learners you've recommended the content to.
Completed: The percentage and the number of learners who have completed watching the recommended content.
In progress: The percentage and the number of learners who are currently in the middle of completing the learning path/course/collection.
Not started: The percentage and the number of learners who haven't started viewing the content.
Click on a number to access detailed information about the learners' progress. This includes the learner's name, their completion percentage, and the completion date, if available.
