KnightWeb Changes Coming August 4, 2025

We hope that you all are enjoying your summer! As a follow-up to our previous meetings, we wanted to let you know that there will be a few changes to your myGeneseo experience. Menus that were previously included under the KnightWeb menu will be moved to myGeneseo on Monday, August 4th.

Change is always a challenge, but we hope this will be an improvement for your myGeneseo portal experience. The change was required due to the pending obsolescence of the (SSB8) Banner Self-Service Banner 8 technology. All of SUNY and all of Banner customers are working through this migration.

We essentially collapsed the KnightWeb menu into the myGeneseo portal, making sites more accessible. There is a new Faculty/Advisor link on myGeneseo. We will be adding more links here and would also welcome your suggestions.

Please consider your use of “KnightWeb” in all of your communications, websites, emails, etc, and modify accordingly. Simply send people to the myGeneseo portal.
