RStudio is a set of integrated tools designed to help you be more productive with R. It’s free and open source and works great on Windows, Mac, and Linux. It includes an R command-line console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, as well as tools for plotting, history, debugging, and workspace management.
Steps
- Download the latest version of R from https://cloud.r-project.org
- Install R by running the downloaded installer
- Download RStudio for your operating system (usually macOS or Windows ) from https://rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/#download
- Complete the installation of RStudio

- Open the downloaded file
- Drag the RStudio icon to the Applications folder
- Eject the open disk image
- Delete the downloaded
- Windows
- Open the downloaded installer
- Complete the installation wizard to finish installing the software.
