Steps
Download the latest version of R from https://cloud.r-project.org
Install R by running the downloaded installer
Download RStudio for your operating system (usually macOS or Windows ) from https://rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/#download
Complete the installation of RStudio
macOS
Open the downloaded file
Drag the RStudio icon to the Applications folder
Eject the open disk image
Delete the downloaded
Windows
Open the downloaded installer
Complete the installation wizard to finish installing the software.
