CIT HelpDesk Loans Late Return Procedure
Students and employees should be mindful that technology for loan at that is loaned from the CIT HelpDesk is a shared college resource. Items that have not been returned by their due date are considered late and an abuse of computing resources. Patrons with late items will be contacted and asked to return the item by the closing of the next day. For items valued at over $500 that are not returned, students will be turned over to the Dean of Students for review, which may result in a code of conduct violation. For items that are not returned, students will be billed for the replacement cost. CIT will notify department heads if employees do not return items after being contacted for a late item. Departments will be recharged at the cost of replacement for items not returned.
